Overview
What LecternOne does
LecternOne is a dedicated lectern graphics tool for live events. Instead of fighting a slide deck to show who is speaking, you build the layout once and take names on air with one keystroke. The result is a clean, consistent speaker feed that matches the look of the show and never shows the operator fumbling between slides.
The running order comes straight from Excel. LecternOne reads name, function, company and two extra fields, and matches the columns automatically. Fix a typo directly in the app, or enable Live Excel sync so the rundown reloads every time the file is saved — without ever touching what is currently on air. What is on air stays on air until you TAKE the next entry.
Design is handled in a WYSIWYG editor that shows a live preview of the real output. Drag, resize and snap every element, and let text auto-fit its box between a minimum and maximum size using any installed font or your own font files. Add logos and background images with full control over position, scale, rotation, crop, brightness, contrast and saturation.
For motion, LecternOne includes animated backgrounds from the 360 Backdrop generator: eight ready-made looks plus a "Surprise me" option, the same looks as the Resolume plugin. A dedicated break panel shows an image or looping video with a title and subtitle for intervals, and keeps the speakers' animated background running underneath so switching never jumps. Full-screen image and video entries cover moments that need no name on screen.
The production view is built for running shows live. Next and On Air previews sit side by side, with TAKE, Back, Skip, Hide text, Black and cross-fades mapped to the keyboard. Output runs to any screen at any resolution, landscape or portrait, up to 4K — and if a display is disconnected and reconnected, the output comes back by itself.
Remote control is first-class: OSC ready for Bitfocus Companion, an HTTP API for integration, and a browser control page for any phone or tablet. Show files preserve your work between sessions, and the interface is available in English and Portuguese.

FAQ
Questions about LecternOne
How is the licensing handled?
LecternOne is licensed per machine. Contact Three Sixty for current pricing, volume options and rental/show-duration terms. We recommend testing the full workflow before production use.
Does the Excel file need to stay open during the show?
No. You import the rundown once, and LecternOne keeps it in the show file. If you enable Live Excel sync, it watches the file and reloads whenever it is saved, but it never changes what is currently on air — you stay in control with TAKE.
Can I control LecternOne from Bitfocus Companion?
Yes. LecternOne exposes OSC that is ready for Bitfocus Companion, plus an HTTP API and a browser control page you can open on any phone or tablet on the same network.
What output resolutions and orientations are supported?
Any resolution up to 4K, in landscape or portrait, matched to your lectern monitor. If the display is disconnected and reconnected during the event, the output returns automatically.
Can I use my own fonts, logos and animated backgrounds?
Yes. You can load your own font files alongside installed fonts, place and adjust logos and background images, and choose from the eight 360 Backdrop animated looks or Surprise me — the same looks as the Resolume plugin.
